Compressor gets stuck on Waiting

I add a file to Compressor and select a publish to Vimeo preset. Enter username and password and start the batch. It's stuck on waiting in the Action window. Don't know what it's waiting for. I've this earlier, but this is the first time in release version of Yosemite.

Does Compressor finish the encoding even when it says it's waiting? Someone on Ken Stone's forum mentioned this same issue a few days ago but he was encoding to m2v for DVD. Compressor stayed stuck in Wait mode but the files were encoded anyway. He was on Mavericks, so it's not specifically related to Yosemite. I have no clue what could be causing this.

I tested a short video, only about a minute long, no issues. Maybe trash prefs and try again?

Thanks guys. I tried a short test, really short. Should have finished. Never arrived at Vimeo. If I close the app and reopen the batch has disappeared from Action, appears in Completed as successful, though nothing in Vimeo.

Bummer. Is this only happening with publishing to Vimeo or do you have the same issue when just converting a file to a different format? I just did different tests and all of them went well, including publish to Vimeo:



So yes, it may be a good idea to trash your Compressor prefs and try again.

So the Vimeo test movie, 14 seconds long, that I set off at 10a local, finally arrived. I received the notification from the Vimeo bot that the file was up at 2:26p. I know Vimeo's slow to mount videos if you don't have a Plus or Pro account, but it's not that slow. So something else is going on. I have to test this further.

The waiting problem occurred in beta for everything, but so far is only occurring with sharing sites.

P.S. It's inconsistent. Sometimes yes. Sometimes no. Not sure where it's being triggered.

Trashed prefs. Cleaned out history and other stuff. Rebooted. Seems to happen pretty consistently for MPEG-4 output.
