NEAT VIDEO - Purple Screen, No Image?

Anyone getting this "purple screen" issue with Neat Video? I apply the effect to any footage, and it just gives me a purple screen like the one in the attached screenshot...

I've never ran in to this or any problem with neat video before...I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling...same issue. No idea whats going on here...

Any ideas?



P.S. - I'm trying it on Blackmagic Cinema Camera ProRes 422 1080p footage, as well as GH4 4k footage, if that matters.

Neat is working as expected here, and I don't see any other posts mentioning the problem.

Thanks for the reply Ronny. I found out it actually is an issue of not having the Neat Video plugin on top of the "stack" of effects you have on the clip. I guess its some issue with FCPX itself, but anyway, by putting it on top, that fixed it.

There was indeed a known issue with the Neat filter not working properly when it was not on top of the filter stack. But that issue was solved in FCP X 10.1.1.

Here you see the Neat filter applied under different other filters (Coremelt, Nattress,...) and it's working as expected:



So what version of FCP X are you running, and what other filters do you have on the problematic clip?

FCPEffects White Balance Plugin 2 is the other effect on the clip.

Now that you mention it, I feel like i'd heard about this issue before, and that it had been fixed as well...hmm...

P.S. - I'm running Yosemite 10.10 and FCPX 10.1.3

I don't have that filter here, so I cannot test it now. But it's good to know this filter needs to be stacked below the Neat filter. Thank you.
