I have a digital camera with footage shot in avchd, 50i. When I drop it on a project in fcpx, the project is 50p. I'm going to screen it from QT on a tv, - mirrored. Or is it a better way? Dvd? should I change project settings to 50i.

Should I transcode? Uggggh - confused!

In the other thread you said the media was 720x576. That's standard def. AVCHD isn't. If this is a different project, make it 25p and export ProRes.

25p ProRes should look fine played back in FCP or the QT player.
