Hi,

I have some footage that needs some serious help by the way of flicker removal. I have tried using Digital Anarchy's Deflicker software but can't get close unless I greatly reduce the image quality and introduce artefacts etc. If anyone can offer any help it's be awesome. Shot on an FS700 at 400fps

vimeo.com/108221224 password is flicker

Thanks
Dean

Does that happen at normal speed, or just in slomo?

What's the frame rate of the camera? Where was it shot?

You might try After Effects, which would probably be the best at this kind of thing.

The clips are already wrapped so they are playing back at 400fps in a 25fps timeline. If I speed up to 800% the flicker goes, anything under that (like 799% down to 'normal') and it flickers. I'm not an After Effects user so that option wont work for me, but thank you for taking the time to answer Tom.

It's probably the AC frequency. Try using a multiple of 60 or 50 depending on where it was shot and see if that works.
