FCP X freaking out

FCP X freaking out was created by mickos
Have had FCP X for several years and it's been great. But now it's freaking out - no cursor control/flickering/arrow changes to a crosshair - presumably Yosemite upgrade has something to do with it, or perhaps the long timeline of 3 hours. Zooming in seems to start it.....Have never had problems before. Will see if there is a preference reset possible for starters.

Tried deleting prefs - looked to have worked but zooming in to timeline for audio adjustments caused major freakout - see screenshot...

Not seeing a screen shot. I wouldn't use 10.10 until 10.10.1 at the earliest on a three hour project.

I'd suspect some sort of GPU corruption.. Installed any new software/drivers lately?
Can't sleep? Try this: fcpxpert.net ;-)

Just one bit of software, have trashed it to see if that helps. Just noticed that a HP printer driver was updated today by App Store automatically. Will see if I can remove it as the bug is still consistent with the zoom-in on the timeline audio forms

Thank you for the update. Interesting to hear how a printer driver can screw up an NLE.
