How are you installing it? Do you have different versions of the software? The only version available from the App Store is 4.1.3.

Just open dmg file and it says this version of MPlayerX cant be used on this mac os version.
You have 10.6.8, this application requires 10.7 or higher.
Tried with versions 3.5, 4 and 4.1.3

What .dmg? MPlayerX has nothing to do with Compressor.

Yeah, that's not Compressor 4.1. You won't have different install versions of Compressor, there won't be a DMG file. It installs directly from the App Store.

As for MPlayerX, you'd have to contact the developer about their software.
