I am running FCPX v1.0.1.3 on my 2012 Mac Mini. Specs are:

2.6 GHX Intel Core i7
16GB 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM
Mavericks 10.9.5

Before this happened, here are the things I did, to the best of my recollection:

1) The event had two projects: 1994 and 1994 Take Two. I renamed both projects 1994 Part 1 and 1994 Part 2, then I went into 1994 part 2 and removed all clips from its timeline.

2) I checked out some other events in some other libraries, then I went back to the Event that I had just altered. This is when FCPX froze.

Below is the link to the crash log, if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

First thing you need to do is close FCP X and shut down the computer.

- If FCP X is still running but you have the spinning beach ball and you cannot close the application, press ALT+CMD+ESC to open the program window. Select Final Cut Pro and press the Force Quit button. Wait until FCP X closes, then she down the computer.

- If Force Quit does not work to close FCP X and you computer hangs, press and hold the power button until the computer shuts down.

Then start the computer again and launch FCP X while holding the CMD+LT keys pressed down. You will get a window asking if you want to delete the FCP X preferences. Confirm and let FCP X launch.

Open the Library that contains the Event that made FCP X crash. When you select the Event, does it make FCP X crash again?
