Get simple EDL out of FCPX? was created by rrongman
Hi
I've a client who want every new edit documented in paper form e.g a simple EDL-list. Clipname, in and out time, duration. How do I do this the easiest way with FCPX 1.1.13?
Is there a smart way to get this from a xml?
Looking forward for input.

Hey Rickard,
At this time the easiest way to get an EDL from FCP X is by using EDL-X: itunes.apple.com/us/app/edl-x/id539666579?mt=12

Ronny, do you know if "Producers Best Friend" will do this? Or not really?

Thanx for suggestions. Seems like PBF will be useful for the reporting.

I agree. And at least you also can use PBF in any modern production workflow. I wonder why there are still people around who ask for an EDL. It's like someone asking you to deliver your final edit on a floppy drive :S
