FC Studio Pro to FCPX on new mac pro was created by Gary Boland

My old Mac Pro will not run FCPX (not upgradable pre 2007) so Im still editing in FCSP. I now have a new Mac Pro with FCPX.

How can I get old FCSP projects into FCPX on the new Mac?

I know there is 7toX software, but I think you need both FCP programs running on the same mac not two separate macs. Im all for networking if needed.

Anyone have answer to my FCP to FCPX.
I have big project started in FCSP that I would like to finish in FCPX to expedite the rendering process by days.

What you really need is to have the media accessible to both machines. Run fcp7 on the old machine. Export an XML file. Use 7toX to convert the XML to an FCPX readible version. With the media connected to the new computer I mport the converted XML into FCPX.
