Loose MXF files needs conversion was created by fb_644487794
Hi,
I have recovered mxf files that were deleted by mistake from a hard drive. I don't have the whole folder structure and so FCP and Compressor does not recognize them. I'm now trying to convert them for FCPX. Can anyone recommend the best SW for that?
Thanks!
Alon

cheapest solution: use the Free Resolve Lite to convert to prores
easiest solution: buy EditReady ($49) - recently featured here on the site - divergentmedia.com or on the App Store - will convert to prores or just rewrap
Both these will convert bare .mxf without the folder structure. Caveat - I've used them with Canon XF series .mxf - I assume they will also handle others
