You see this effect all the time on TV. Is there a plugin for FCPX that makes it easy to grab a web page and simulate the mouse movement across the page? I would rather do this with a plugin than build it out in AE.
Thanks

QuickTime Player or ScreenFlow will do screen captures.
You can tilt and angle that in FCPX or Motion just fine.
Yes, there are plugins that help with this, I know one or two are in the Free Templates section of this forum. Don't know the exact URLs off the top of my head. There's also one or two retail templates you can buy. Again, not sure of the exact URL, but they're out there, I've seen them. Will report back if I can find them. Unless someone else knows where to find them.

This sorta thing comes into play in about 75% of my freelance work. I would say most of what you need to do can be achieved in FCPX with layered PSDs and key framing - especially something like animating a mouse across the screen. To animate button clicks, just layer the same button (use a matte and duplicate if its part of a solid image) and make it appear brighter/lighter/etc once "clicked". Don't forget to add subtle sound effects to heighten the sense of reality.
