Audio sync issues when sharing to Youtube was created by smunk_denmark
When I share a project to Youtube, audio sync is unstable when played back on iOS devices (iPad, iPhone).
This only happens in some projects. It may be related to multiclips. If I have an interview with two camera angles, the sync goes way off, but if I use the footage directly in the timeline, the sync is fine.
Sync is correct when played back from Youtube on a Mac or PC.
Sharing the master file and using compressor to make an h264 for Youtube gives the same sync issues.
Could it be that FCP creates an "edit list atom" in the mov file? This has been known to cause sync issues on Youtube.
I really need to find a solution to this, because right now I cannot publish my projects!
Details: In the projects with problems, all footage is 25 frames/sec, 48 kHz, imported from Canon 5D, optimized media.
