Loop an audio?

Loop an audio? was created by rhoydotp
Hi,
I created a 60bpm audio with just a shaker as a guide for me to align the videos. It's only 4 beats and I don't know yet how long I would need so I just want to play it over the timeline.
I know I can just create a longer audio using DAW but I am curious if there a way for me to loop an audio within FCPX?
Attached is a sample of what I was talking about.

Create a storyline from the audio and within the storyline option drag to duplicate the audio clip as often as you need it.

thanks. That's a crude way of doing it, but it will work I guess. So there's no way to just loop the audio without having to make duplicate copies of it?

Will try it out. It sounds counter-intuitive, at least to me.
still hoping that there is a way to loop an audio within FCPX.

That is exactly what I was doing and I'm looking for something that seems simple enough to do. Thanks for the work-around ... but nobody is straight up saying whether looping is possible. I am guessing this is a meaningless chase for something that does not exist.

There's no looping feature in Final Cut Pro X yet.

Wasn't ever one in FCP7 either. That's something you'd find more in a music composition/dedicated audio app such as Logic/Garage Band/ProTools. Wonder if it could be done via a plugin though...
