Some question about Generators.

This question came up for me a few days ago.
I'm working with my old friends from Digital Heaven to integrate DH_SubtitleX into my subtitle tools like I did with DH_Subtitle about 10 years ago.

This is quite a challenge since DH_SubtitleX is not a Motion Title but an easy to use but powerful Motion Generator.
While the settings transport to XML is solved the handling inside FCP X is totally different.

The problem seems to be that generators are handled as video in the XML. This seems not to be an issue at the first glimpse. At a closer look it seems to be one.
In the timeline index there is no option to select generators (they are neither video nor any other selectable thing).
It can be solved using roles.

Using transitions it's the same except they don't accept a role.

Your thoughts are very welcome.
