23.98 to 25 for PAL DVD was created by KarlSutton
I've tried re-timing in compressor but the audio was out of sync, the only suitable solution I could find was importing into a 25FPS PAL timeline and exporting that way. Audio & Video are in sync, but audio is pitched higher than original. I tried pitching the audio down in Pro Tools but is doesn't stay in sync.
Any suggestions on how to accomplish this task?
Thanks.

Hey Karl,
We recently had a long thread about this here: www.fcp.co/forum/4-final-cut-pro-x-fcpx/...5fps-video-with-fcpx
Bottom line is: drop your 23.98 video file into a 25 fps PAL timeline and use Automatic Speed to "conform" the 23.98 fps video to 25 fps. Then export the Project. The entire movie will run 4% faster (which is common practice when converting 24fps to 25 fps for European television), but the audio pitch will not change.
