Did this happen in the Import window when you wanted to import form a camera archive, or did this just happen in Finder?

Hi Laurie,
Well, I have seen camera archives temporarily turn into folders when opening them in the FCP X Import window, but this is new. Do you mean instead of the grey film can icon you now have a regular folder with the clips inside it? Strange.
Of course FCP X camera archives are in fact camera folders wrapped in a container, and when you open a camera archive with "Show Package Content" you can see the contents of the camera archive in a Finder window, just like when you open a folder. So you still can import your media from the folder but I have no idea how you can turn that folder back into an FCP X Camera Archive.
Just a question: did this happen overnight or have you tried to open the Camera Archive before it changed into a folder?

It appeared to happen overnight. I've run cocktail again and the whole system noe shows the correct icons again.
