"MXF4mac Import" plugin installation

So, I'm testing out the demo version of this plugin for use with FCP X 10.1

I downloaded the demo and installed it, but when I try to import MXF files, I get the same old message: "None of the selected files or folders can be imported. Change the selection and try again"

Does anyone have experience with this plugin from Hamburg Media?

It would seem that I successfully installed it, but when I look in the FCP plugins folder I don't recognize anything that would seem to be this plugin.

Any help or thoughts are appreciated.

It isn't a Motion created plugin, so it will only show up in a system folder somewhere. I'd also directly contact the developer, also. See what they have to say. Could be an installation bug they may already know about.

Also, check their compatibility list, be sure the specific type of MXF you're importing is one they support.

I have emailed the company, but am yet to receive a response...I'd call, but they're in Germany. I am trying to open their sample MXF files, so there shouldn't be any issue there.
