Fastest way to export large files to Vimeo. was created by Seany

Trying to export some video files to Vimeo, the largest being 6gb, whats the fastest was to do this, I don't mind compressing the files somewhat, what would be the best and quickest way to compress the files for quick upload to vimeo, at the moment time trumps quality.
Any advice appreciated?

Thanks, I'm actually using compressor but the encoding times are really long, 10hrs for 6gb file, is handbrake faster?

What format is this 6 GB file?

A ten hour single pass encoding job seems pretty extreme for any relatively recent Mac.

Anyway, if the terms of your account allow it, I suspect the quickest way might be just to share directly from FCP X.
