different cut types? was created by alvarog01
Hi!
I just noticed that after using the blade tool, sometimes the sliced clip seems to have rounded corners, in opposite as other clips... maybe is a silly question... what's the difference between them?
I have attached a screenshot.

The one on the left has some media cut out and is not contiguous. The one on the right is a through edit, the material is continuous and the edit can be deleted.

When both sides of the bladed clip are continuous (called a through-edit) you will see a dotted line between the two sides and the corners of the sides will be rectangular.
When you trim one of the sides of a bladed clip the dotted line between the two parts will be replaced by a straight line and the corners will get rounded.
