Can not add transition to title

I am seeing a strange issue in 10.1.2
I can not add a transition to a title. I get the message "not enough handle..etc.."
Click OK and still no transition gets applied.
There is a work around, first create a storyline on the title, then I can add a transition.

I copied one of the same titles to another project, and there I can add a transition as normal.
So it seems to be project based.
Havent figured out yet whats going on.

Thanks, I didnt try that.. I finished the project, they were happy with it as is (no transitions on the various titles I wanted to add), but Ill keep that in mind if the issue pops up again.
