Can iMovie movie trailer project be edited in FCPX including titles?

The movie trailer project is a template that has fixed timing. Although I can manage to bring the event into FCPX through 'File >Send Movie to Final Cut Pro'.
I can see the library and event, however, no sign of the project.
Any lead?
Many Thanks for your support,

Trailers cannot be, but they can be converted to movie projects in iMovie. What exact versions of the software are you using?

Hi Tom,
I use iMovie version 10.0.4 and FCPX 10.1.2
So once converted to movie projects, can they be edited in FCPX or does it involve any workaround?
Many Thanks,

Currently it's not working as it should. When you send to FCP you get the project and nothing else, no clips in the event, just the clips in the project. You can work around this by going through each clip in the project and pressing Shift-F, which is reveal in browser, to load the clip into the browser. This does not bring all the media from the event, only the clips used in the project. If you want all the event clips, you need to make a project with all the media, send that to FCP, and then send the edited project to FCP. Hopefully a new version of iMovie will correct this. I suspect changes in FCP's upgraded XML has created this problem.
