Different frame rates in the storyline

Different frame rates in the storyline was created by Guitarzan
I've googled this question with no real clear success.
I have video recorded on a 5D3 and also an HV-40 that I need to use in the same story line (multi cam) the problem is the 5D3 was shot in 24 f, and the HV-40 in 30 f.
The way I understand it is FCPX sets the storyline settings to the properties of the first clip imported. How do I import camera B? Must I first transcode 30 to 24 before importing?
Thanks for any help!

Just put it in the timeline. FCP will take care of it. Unless most of your material is 29.97, it would be better to go the other way.

Tom, thanks for the quick reply! Good to know. The main camera is at 24f and the B cam is 30f. So this should work fine then.
