Just in case anyone else is having this problem. Resolve 11 lite beta 1 was crashing when trying to import XML from FCPX for some projects. It was a bug which has now been fixed in beta vs 2, dowloadable from DaVinvi's site.

I just spent three days trying to get the thing to accept XML, now it works. No complaints: that's the nature of betas and Resolve 11 Lite is fantastic value!

My problem is still ongoing with Beta2.

Resolve 11 still isn't translating position changes properly from FCP X 10.1.2 Projects.

I was really hoping they'd get that fixed in this version so could upgrade.

Just discovered that's my problem too. I'm now working on a project that has some re-sizing of stills and it's also missing those.

Let's hope beta 3 comes soon...

I also hope Resolve can tidy up their UI layout for when we use Retina MBPs... having to select 'scaled' in display prefs just to be able to see the entire screen layout is a pain....
