iMovie Library / Events on Lacie Drive

iMovie Library / Events on Lacie Drive was created by wsmc511

I have been using iMovie since Jan of 2014. I have just upgraded to a new MacBook Pro with FCP. I cannot seem to open my library located on my Lacie drive. Again these events/library was created using iMovie directly on the Lacie.

I searched a bit on the forum and could not find a current post. I apologize in advance if this has been covered.

Open you project in iMovie and select File >Send Movie to Final Cut Pro.

FCP X will open and your iMovie Project and Event will show in FCP X.
