Help! Saving Projects/Events on iMac then working on them on MacBook Pro was created by eliotdelgado
So i'm having an issue. I saved my Final Cut X project on my MacBook Pro. Then just got my new iMac (yay) and went to work on it there and it wasn't reading a couple files. No big deal. I got the same files and just fixed it the same way blah blah. I kept working on my project and saved it to my Lacie Drive. I'm leaving this weekend to Tahoe so i want to work on the project. I plugged in my Lacie to the macbook pro and everything new i did is not showing on my macbook pro...why is this? Help.

You are probably seeing an old Library that is still on your MBP. Try this:
- Connect your LaCie drive to your MBP.
- Launch FCPX and close every Library in your Browser (File > Close Library).
- Then choose File > Open Library > Other. The "Open Library" window will launch.
- In this window click the Locate button, a Finder window will open.
- In the Finder window navigate to your LaCie drive, select the Library of your production, then press Open.
This should open the correct Library that you have been working on on your iMac.
