Hi All,
It's a tiny feature that has always speeded up my working in timeline FCP 6/7, many will remember the keyboard shortcut : Fit Selection command Option+Shift+Z (I call it zoom to selection). I use it in audio repair a lot.
Somehow I can't see that command exist in FCPX, or any suggestion that fit to selection can be done in FCPX.
Much appreciated for your help!

Hold the Z key and drag around the selection area.
