FCP X Title Glow has extremely limited control?

Hi,

Am I missing something? The FCP X title glow controls seem terribly limited. You can increase the radius of the glow, but all that really does is trust fatten up what looks more like an outline than a glow. Adding blur doesn't do much to soften it up. I can't seem to get a true fat glow around the letters, like I can in Photoshop and After Effects and Boris in FCP 7. What's going on? Is it really just that limited?

The limit was imposed when the original author created it in Motion. Right click it, chose "Open A Copy In Motion", modify it to do what you want.

Double click in the radius value and scroll the mouse to raise the value. It goes into the 1000s. Blur does the same. Many values in FCP that have come from Motion can actually be dialled up to much higher values.
