I have not been able to find any method to get the latest FCPX update which was recently released (apparently).

The App Store notified me of the updates to Compressor and Motion but not FCPX. I can find no information on the Apple support site. I have spent hours looking online and it seems everyone else had no problem with this. What am I missing?

I am using an Early 2009 Mac Pro, OS X 10.9.4. My current version of FCPX is 10.1

Do you see the application in the Purchases page of the App Store? If so move the application to the trash and you should be able to redownload it.

Thank you! That worked. I was concerned about losing my third party plugins but everything is there with the updated version.
