I am testing my exports...I want the best I can get and the project was created in 1080p 30 fps
When I export the video to DVD the text doesn't look so good on my Smart TV...
I would prefer the video be kept in 1080p but I have a request for a DVD version...
What is the best way to export to DVD and Blu Ray but not lose all my hard work in quality?
Thanks for Any Help!

Use San Serif fonts, nothing thin, nothing with fancy curvy lines, bold font, drop shadows always.

Thanks that changes some of the dramatic effect to the video though....I have a particular
text thats a theme for the narration and intro and it has outlines which I know can be an issue...

I don't see SANS SERIF listed as a font in FCPX?

Sans Serif is not a font it is a font without serifs.
Helvetica for example has no serifs, Times do have.

Ah Thats why one of the scrolling texts looks ok...
I am using Whoopass font which isn't normal I know but its the theme so I am not sure if it uses serifs
or not? How do I find that out? I can change the ending credits to Helvetica
Thanks Andreas!

Looking at the font I don't believe it has serifs...never knew the difference but I do now...
I think my issue is the outlining and exporting to a lower resolution on the DVD...project is 1080p but DVD output is 720x480 coming out of FCPX....so Im losing quality there...I think I will just say it
has to be 1080p Blu Ray thats how it was created and I worked hard to make that all look so good...
I don't want the final movie to be anything less
