Using a project in a project was created by foxytom
Hi there,
I am doing a Project that is a medley of four others.
Basically, I have four interviews which have already been cut as projects (as opposed to compound clips).
I need to do a 5th project that is a a medley of the other four (talking heads style.)
Does anyone suggest a good workflow for this? Is there any way to scrub a project and put it in the new project (like using the browser in FCP7?) ? I might also need handles for the source (interview) clips that might end up in the medley clip.

I'd say convert the projects to compound clips, but you wouldn't get handles. When I have needed to do this, I copy the project edited clips and paste into a new master. Repeat this process for all your projects. You'll keep your handles and have a full master project. Audio post guys don't take kindly to not having handles.
