New bug in 10.1.2?

'sup guys,

Not pro enough to know if it's a new bug or not...
But, whereas in 10.1.1 the shortcut 'P' allowed you to move a clip and replace the one exactly below, now the shortcut 'P' appears to just place the selected clip in the nearest gap between unrelated clips.

If this is not a bug, can someone suggest how now to retrieve that tool?

No bugs as far as I can see. And position tool hasn't changed.

Have you done any training on FCPX? I would recommend the excellent tutorials on Ripple Training, Larry Jordan, Lynda.com, and MacProVideo.com (there are others but I haven't seen them). It will bring you up to speed very quickly. If you are into it, just read the manual. Here is the 10.1.2 user guide:
