Looking for an effect to process the video according to its audio

Hello everybody!
I want to process the video of my project according to its audio signal. For example, I want to add a filter on the images when the sound of my video goes on low frequencies.
1) Do you know if there is existing plug-in effects to achieve this function?
2) I try to find effects generators to make myself this effect. I find PixelConduit, but to process audio the software is not free. Do you know something else?
Thanks a lot !

I know that you can do something similar in After Effects, not based on frequencies but on the audio levels. You could probably EQ the sound to emphasise the frequencies you need.
I believe there's also a way of doing it in Motion using behaviours.

Hi There,
It is fairly simple to do within motion. I once triggered the height of 36 different rectangle shapes to emulate a meter bridge of a mixing console.
For your situation, what I would do is select the filter you want to use, and then next to the mix, click on the drop down and select "Add Parameter Behavior" and select "Audio".
You will now have options to select the frequency range you want to use, and whether you want it to respond to amplitude or transients. It also gives you other options to fine-tune it.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Ben

Be aware the "transients" setting is a big buggy, stick to frequency.
