Voice Over Audio Question

Voice Over Audio Question was created by CMessineo
I have a scene where a character has normal dialogue, but where we also hear what they are thinking.
We recorded both audio the same way and in the current edit they both sound the same.
I would like to add a filter to the voice over dialogue, so it sounds a bit different. I want it to be subtle, but to give the audience the feeling that this is a "thought" and not "dialogue".
Any suggestions on what filters I might apply/play with?
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Channel EQ filter to flatten the audio out a tad. Pull some low end out, and some high end, just a tad little bit.
Then add the Bright Long Verb or the Small Hall preset with the PlatinumVerb audio filter.
Finally, pull the volume down to be slightly lower than the live voice.
