FCP X 10.0.8 update error.. Help please!!!

Hi all,

I've searched the forum and was unable to answer, I have the version of FCP X 10.0.8 and am trying to upgrade to version 10.1 and always appears the message that I can only upgrade if you have version 10.0.9 or higher. How can I solve this?


*I'm trying to upgrade, why the FCP rendering takes hours when I add text to videos.

If it's a legit copy you can download the full version from the app store. apple instructions

If it's not a legit copy, you're in the wrong place.

It is a legitimate copy so then I have to remove and install the entire FCP?
I have no option to upgrade?

Well, seeing as 10.1 is so markedly different from 10.0.8, I doubt there's much difference between a clean install and an upgrade. Follow the Apple instructions to remove your copy then redownload, I reckon.

It should upgrade the app itself. The databases may not.

Are you getting this when updating the application via the App Store, or when you're updating your Events and Projects?
