This seems like it could be something that I've really been waiting for. An integrated way to sync project metadata between computers, maybe even entire libraries, but you'd need google fiber for that.
It's not really a big deal to have copies of the fcpx library at both computers, actually it's really something that should be done as a backup plan.
What I'd like to see is syncing of the project metadata and any new media that is added as work on the project progresses, but it does seem like a challenge to figure out how fcpx would know to sync additional imports, maybe a checkbox on the import window that says "sync new media with iCloud drive"?

Can't really see the difference between this and any of the other virtual disk providers.
Why is this any different to Dropbox, Google Drive etc?
The only benefit I can see is that it provides seamless access across all your devices.
