Audio editing in multicam clips - levels was created by jonihess
Hi
I just wonder how do you do small audio correction in multicam clips? I know its better to do the audio work in a separate audio program. But in some cases there is now time or money to do that.
My question is because when I correct audio in multicam clips, which is very convenient, so I don't have to copy/paste the effects, the levels are different. Wenn I open the multicam clip the levels are around -6db, but when I put this multicam clip in a project the levels are are 3-6db less, so around -9 to -12db.
Does anyone else have this issue? Do I have to edit audio in the project timeline and copy/paste the effects to all clips?
Thanks for your help

Can't say I've had this issue. Perhaps you have changed levels on the Multicam clip itself?
Or are you monitoring both channels in the Multicam clip?

Thanks for your help.
I monitor just the active channel. So I have only the audio of one camera and in the inspector I've set it to "dual-mono" and use just one channel.
I've raised the levels +9db and put some channel EQ and compressor in it, so that the levels are around -6db.
In the project timeline I didn't touch the audio. So the level of the clip is on 0db and the channel config are the same as in the multicam clip (I think they take the settings from it).
