Extracting Photos from Camera Archives

Hello folks

Another odd ball question here: is there a way to export photos that are stored in Camera Archives? You see I realize one of my cameras had pictures on the internal memory that for some reason I didn't know about and deleted. But when I opened that shoots archive, all the pictures were there as well as the clips! So I thought 'hooray!'...

Until I noticed the only thing I found to do with them is import them in a project. What if I want to export the full resolution JPG and or CR2? Anyway you guys know of doing this?

Is there another app that will open/read FCPX camera archives?

You can right click on the camera archive and select "show content" and drag your images out of it.
