Edited in FCPX…

So there’s been a few posts recently of work cut in FCPX. I wondered if it would be a good idea if we had a thread dedicated to this?

Then if we have questions about how a particular job was achieved, technically, creatively, workflow whatever, we can discuss it. Plus it’s just great to see all the types of work FCPX is being used for. It really helps spread the good news I think.


Anyway. Here’s a music video and commercial I cut recently in Fcpx.

That's the biggest problem with FCP.co everyone just posts everything in the one category.
It means that many questions and topics go un-viewed in the busy times.

There are more posts here than all the other topics combined.
So your "Made with FCPX" would disappear in about a week never to be seen again I'm afraid.

Great work TGC! Of course I'm biased because I'm a fan of Arcade Fire, and they have had some very innovative music videos. Very cool, because I saw this video a few weeks ago and it's good to know who cut it. The Experia spot is also beautiful and has a good sense of rhythm. I always say that it's not so much the tool, but I do also say that FCPX is the best for commercials and music videos.

You're right about it not being so much the tool. But what a tool! I love it for short form work. It flies!
