Logo changing opacity on import? was created by Seany
Client sent me a logo in pdf format but some of the text has lightened in colour when I import in fcpx, why is this and is this a job for photoshop now?

- If the PDF has no embedded color profile FCP X will add a default profile while importing, which can lead to gamma and/or colors displaying differently in FCP X than in your PDF viewer. You can adjust gamma and color inside FCP X using the color correction tools, or you can use Pixelmator or Photoshop to modify the color and then convert the PDF to PNG.
- You also should make sure that the PDF image is RGB and not CMYK. If it is CMYK you can change this to RGB in Photoshop as well, then export the PDF as PNG.
- If the final edit is going to be viewed on home televisions you also should be aware of the fact that every single tv will display the video and the logo differently.
