Hello,

I've got all these 20140427_1825_PDT.fcpbundle files collecting on my hard drive. Are they "Backup" files?

The (amazing) "Final Cut Library Manager" software doesn't see them, so can I just manually delete them?

As always, I appreciate your help with this matter.

Thanks, Eddie

They're backup files of the library. Manager doesn't catalog them because they contain no media.

Hi Tom!

So, can I just delete them? Or, should I save the last one and delete the others?

I've got these files for everything I've done going back for a long time. The projects are all put to bed, so I don't think I need any backup files.

What do you think?

I wish we had a way to set in Prefs how may to keep max. I, too, and culling them out tonight, AND complaining on the FCPX feedback page. My library database backup folder is now 7GB and growing. Originally I told Apple that a limit was needed, but they said nah, they're tiny, no one will ever notice them. Yeah, right... Look at the folder I have with over 200 copies of one library, and tell me not to worry.

Hi Ben,

Thanks so much for your feedback on the backup issue.

Cool... I'll dump mine too.

Thanks again!! Eddie
