I'm working on a simple video project today-Monday, cutting together clips from hours of footage to create a simple documentary video. I'm new to FCP and need a bit of guidance and handholding. Is there anyone out there would would be willing to consult via a screen share for an hour or two at various points in this project: today, tomorrow especially?
I would be willing to pay for help.
I think once I have some of the fundamentals down I can edit this together but at this point I'm struggling with the UI and FCP nomenclature and beginning to spin my wheels.
THX- Drew

Hi Drew,
Welcome to fcpx. Fcpx is really quite easy to pick up. Unfortunately I don't have time today but i think if you were willing to spend just a few hours watching training for ripple training you would be off and running quickly.
Here is the 10.1 training, just 6 hrs.

STRONGLY recommend doing some formal training. macProVideo.com or RippleTraining.com are the best online video sources. Spend one day, get it all down right away, correctly from the beginning. You'll get more work done faster.
