I have a series of titles that I am putting over various shots. I would like to group them all together so I can move the clips beneath them around and not have each of my titles attached to a specific clip. I'm not sure how to do that. I can't make them a secondary story line and when I try to make them a compound clip, the program crashes. It must really hate that! Ideas?
Also, when I try to minimize the titles as a role, oohing happens. It will highlight them as titles, but when I hit minimize, they stay expanded.
thx

Why can't you make a secondary storyline?

When I lasso them, the option is greyed out.

The only reason I can think of that may prevent the creation of a secondary storyline is if some of the titles overlap. Is that the case?

You already have several secondary storylines - that is why you can't create one out of them.
You'll need to to delete those transitions around the titles, delete the storylines and then select all the titles and create a new single secondary storyline. You can add the transitions again after that.

Got it. So anything you attach to the primary story line automatically becomes a secondary story line when you add a transition to it? I see that now, but I'm not sure why that would be. Good to know anyway - thanks!
