Inter-clip skimming? was created by joema
When skimming the Event Browser, I know about CNTL-CMD-right/left arrow for next/prev clip. When using JKL skimming in the browser, is there any way to make the skimmer automatically advance to the next clip?

The command is called "Next Clip", you can add it to any key by customising your keyboard.

The up arrow jumps to the start of the previous clip and the down arrow jumps you to the next one. Is that what you're looking for?

Thanks, just wondering if any mode or command allowed skimming all clips in the browser as a contiguous sequence without hitting "next clip" all the time.

Put them all in a compound clip or a project.

I agree a "play thru" of the Event browser would be a nice feature, negating exactly what you're suggesting Tom, and eliminating the need to clutter up a project with unnecessary Projects/CCs.

Since the update last October, I believe that iMovie currently allows users to do this.

I think I've already submitted feedback to Apple on this.
