Event not showing up in Library

Hi everyone,

I just discovered that one of my events in one of my libraries is missing. Very strange since when I select "show package contents" for the library, the folder of the event with all the files (haven't touched anything) is still showing up there. I just don't see it in FCP... Any ideas on how to have it show up again (and work on it some more )

With the application closed, try opening the library bundle and moving the flexolibrary file to the trash. Relaunch the application.

Maybe you can help me. I am using Final Cut Pro X. FCPX crashed on me several times yesterday while I was working on a 3 hour long project. When I worked on the video this morning everything was in red and said missing proxy media. I changed the video from proxy to optimized and everything reappeared. The problem is now I lost all of my last few days of editing. Please help!

See if there is a recent backup of your library.

Will the backup be in Time Machine?

The should be a backups folder. The default location is in Movies. The backup libraries should be there named by date/time.

OMG! You are a genius. I found my most recent edits. However, when I try to open the library it still crashes like it did yesterday. I didn't have this problem until I expanded the compound clip and adjusted cuts on the multicam clips.

The project is open now. I will wait until it finishes rendering.

My project is up and running. The only time it crashes is when I'm making adjustments to a compound clip that was a multiclip. Do you discourage making adjustments to compound clips?
