I am trying to get a Track X generator to attach to a video clip. It only seems to attach to the audio music bed. I'm new to FCX - so not sure what I need to do.
Thanks!

Could you post a screen shot of what you're seeing? Connected clips only connect to clips on the primary storyline. Everything is connected to the primary.

ok - how would I connect the generator to the clip and then add that to the primary storyline? I don't know quite know how compound clips work...could that be the way to do it?
In the screen shot - the orange clip is the generator - I need it to connect to the clip below it and then to the storyline below that.
Thanks!

You need to put the screen shot in the message. Compound clip might work, but I have to see it.

I love Track X, and not understanding what you're trying to do, I'd HIGHLY recommend watching the tutorial videos to learn how it properly works.
