Beginner Question - Can FPCX fix video that is oriented the wrong way?

Now that I have done some tutorials with FCPX, I imported some of videos to try a project or two on my own. My first concern is that some videos are off 90 degrees in orientation. Is that a fixable problem? If so, can someone point me in the right direction to fix it?

The only true way you could fix that is by re-shooting - I assume you mean it's like when somebody shoots a cell phone video vertically instead of horizontally, as outlined in
this hilarious video
.
The only way I can think of to "fix" it is by making a copy of the video, stretching out the copy, blurring it massively, just like you see on the news. Otherwise, there really is no other way besides zooming massively and losing a ton of detail... or, like I said originally, a reshoot may be in order.

Thanks. I agree, the video is very good.
Yes, these were early cell phone videos, but date from a while back so reshooting isn't an option. So I'll just chalk it up to experience and not shoot any vertical video ever again!
