Replied by marchyman on topic have not been able to export the video due to extra long export times with final cut x.

How about you helping us with a tad more info...

What machine? How much memory?
How much disk? How many drives? What interface?
What version of FCPX?
How long is the video?
What source codec?
What destination codec?
What export target?
How long is "extra" long?
