Beginner Question: Removing/clearing what is in the timeline

Hello,

I am trying to teach myself FCPX using a book of tutorials. Unfortunately, it is for 10.0.x and I have 10.1.1. I've just completed by first project. It is in the timeline. It is not clear to me how to clear the project from the timeline. I don't want to delete the project, just get it so I have a blank timeline where I could start a new project.

Make a new empty project. Or just ignore until you're ready to.

Aside from that I made a full breakdown of how to edit a basic video start to finish. It's a solid 2 hours and it is pre 10.1 but it is downloadable and chapterized and totally free. I hope it helps you.
