Effects preview madness

Hey!

Let's say I have a time line and as I play it or skim across it's showing at 150% in the viewer. Now if I select a clip and go to the effects browser and skim across one of the effects, it hows the preview at 224%! (fit to screen). Now that is madness... I think I managed to fix it earlier but now I can't for the life of me remember how I did it... And of cours, since it's skimming as soon as I move the mouse away from one of the effects icons, the preview goes back to the original 150% so can't change it in the zoom menu... Gah!

Anyone know where I change this?

Not entirely sureI get what you're describing. Try going to the Window menu and clicking on Revert to Original Layout.

It's hard to explain. You know when you skim over the effects in the effects browser? It then shows a preview of the selected clip in the viewer. That preview seems to be always set to fill the viewer window. Very annoying when it's not the same size as the one you're using when editing.

Ok, I solved it.
The effects preview uses the settings from the event browser. So if you have selected a clip and previewed it at 200%, that's the size the effect preview is gonna be shown at. So you have to go back and select a clip in the event browser then choose the same percentage as what you working with. Very weird!
