I wasn't sure where to post this, but does anyone have a reliable Blu-Ray player they've installed and used on their Mac? I've purchased an external player/burner and can't seem to find a good player through a quick google search. Thanks.

I have an LG internal burner in my Macpro not sure the model but cost under $200.00US.
If you already have external burner, why would you want to get another burner?

I tried the demo of that one last night actually. I'm not sure if its because it was the demo, but it did not play the chapters in the correct order and I could not access the first play trailors or the menu. The footage was also coming through choppy.

I hunted around for a few Mac players, but then just gave in and picked up a BluRay player at Target for $50.
For my purposes I found it to be a better testing device since hardly anyone would be playing a BluRay title on a computer.

I believe all (or most) of the OS X BluRay software players are the same code with different branding skins.. Aurora is one of them and their demo doesn't time out but has their name overlaid on the video until one pays up... so I imagine testing the trial is the same as the final. (BTW, though I haven't tried it the one linked above seems to be the most common.)

I have MacBluRay Player. I have only played one disc on it so far and it works fine. Does it always skip the trailers? If so that is GREAT! I hate having to skip or fast forward through that usually unskippable nonsense they put on the beginning of studio Blu-rays. Now if only it wouldn't play back animated menus that have scenes from the movie in them. Seriously, what's the point of that? I'm about to watch the movie, why is it being advertised to me?

Thanks for the info guys, I guess I'll give macblurayplayer another try. It seems to be starting blu-rays locally produced about 15 minutes into the feature, maybe something is weird with the demo settings.
